What are the printing options available? The FFF and Polyjet printing technology are available on our online order system. If you require methods outside of these, or other add ons such as additional post processing, please contact us directly.
Check out our ‘3D Printing Methods’ and ‘Materials’ pages for more details on what each printing option is suitable for.
What is the maximum printing size and quantity? We don’t limit our 3D print sizes! If you are looking for manufacturing something big, talk to us directly.
However, for a print in a single piece, the maximum dimensions are 914x610x914mm of FFF, and 500 x 400 x 200mm of Polyjet. If the model size is over this size, we will recommend to split it into 2 halves mechanically, and will glue it back after printing, and can keep the mechanical strength for testing. There is no limit to the quantity as well. We specialize in massive 3D printing and printing hundreds to thousands of prints in a single order is common. Reach out to us if you are looking at doing a massive order!
Is my 3D model printable? Which 3D printing method is best for it? Please ensure that all parts of your model have a under 1mm thickness. Other potential problems include unintended pixelations, meshing problems etc. If you are unsure of any potential issues, you may check with us in advance. Do note that we are unable to do refunds, so please ensure that your order is good to go! You may check out our ‘3D Printing Methods’ and ‘Materials’ page for more guidance on 3D printing options.
What's the cost of 3d printing? How are the price calculated? A: The cost will be calculated by the material volume that is going to use for the 3D model, as well as the 3D printing time.
What’s the NDA procedure ? You can get self-signed NDA by clicking this link.
What are the colors available? The colors available for each material type are listed in the online order system and will change from time to time based on available stocks. Note that the shades of colors might also vary over time due to changes in production.
If you require a specific colour that is not listed, reach out to us for assistance.
What is the leadtime of my 3D print order? A typical order has a standard leadtime of 2-5 working days (our working days are Mon-Fri). However, as 3D printing is highly customizable, with orders varying in the material used, quantites, print sizes and complexities, the leadtime for each order varies greatly. Less common materials, higher quantities, big print sizes and complex geometries will require a longer leadtime.
For estimating the leadtime, feel free to contact us with details on your order. You may email us at info@3dplink.com . Please do so BEFORE placing a confirmed order.
We also assistwith urgent orders. Simply email to the same email above with details on your order.
Do you ship internationally? Yes, we offer international shipping and have shipped many prints globally. Please contact us directly regarding international shipping.
What are the local shipping options and delivery time? We offer a variety of shipping options: Get a quote in 24 hours, delivery in one day by DHL.
Can I choose courier or use my own shipping account? We don’t recommend you to select courier by yourself for 2 reasons:
Pricing: We have long-term partnership with couriers like DHL, our pricing is definitely lower than any shipping account of your own. Handling time: We have automatic workflow of packing and shipping, every package will be shipped with the option given your deadline. If you choose your own courier, we have to process it manually and that will take longer time and handling fee.
If you insist on choosing a specific courier or using your own account, please leave a note while submitting orders. You can find the Note field in order submission.
Can I do Cash on Delivery for my order? We require payment before printing and unfortunately do not accept COD at the moment.
For corporate orders, we accept Net 30 terms. Alternative payment terms are possible too, do reach out to us directly.
Can I make changes to my paid order? Changes can be made only if the final order value is higher than the initial one. This is because we are unable to provide refunds due to the payment going through a third party.
Please notify us of any changes as soon as possible, to catch us before we start printing the item! No changes can be made if manufacturing has begun.
I want to cancel/ edit my order, can I get a refund? We are not able to do refunds as the payment goes through a third party. Please ensure that your 3D files, chosen 3D printing materials and methods are compatible for printing before submitting an order.
If you need help, feel free to reach out to us prior to placing an order!
There is an error with my print, who can I reach out to? If there is an error due to the printing, you can send an email for us to help you.
Please ensure that your 3D designs and chosen 3D printing method are suitable prior to making an order. Errors due to defective 3D files (pixelation, meshing issues etc.) or unsuitably chosen 3D printing methods will not be reprinted.
Do you have MOQ value? A: Yes, it will be $35 for 1 order at least, which means if the parts cost not reach to $35 usd, will be counted as $35, and can make more copies to reach the MOQ charge.
What payment options do I have? A: The options are available for T/T, Paypal, and Alibaba.
